About The Good Florist

The Good Florist is a floral studio in Devon led by Roberta Emmott. Specialising in sustainable event floristry and business mentoring, her courses offer a chance to develop floristry techniques, as well as practical business skills.

Her style blends classic and contemporary florals and her arrangements are both ethereal but rooted and tell a story to time and place, fitting perfectly into their location.

Courses are held in small groups at her farm in Devon, where students are invited to explore, switch off and and immerse themselves in flowers and the creative experience.

There’s a strong emphasis on photography, and the courses are co-delivered with a creative team to deliver editorial style shots of the work. One of the big features is that students will go away with a highly curated gallery of professional images.
