TYPE OF WORK COVERING

Ongoing Support Required - I'm looking for someone to work in a hands on practical way with Christmas wreath making, a salon Christmas installation & ongoing work in the future with Weddings, workshops & events when permitted.

I also require someone who can assist with admin tasks such as setting up a more co ordinated approach to replying to Wedding Enquiries and bookings. As well as help updating products on my website.( I have someone who manages my website so it would be liaising creating products & booking in the photography for them with website manager/ photographer)

For the right person there will be further work in 2021 as I am moving into new studio with retail space and a dedicated studio for running workshops. So some experience of managing stock is an advantage.

This role might suit someone who still requires some training which I would undertake, or a more established professional. Must be a good communicator & interested in both some admin tasks as well as hands on flowering.

A BIT ABOUT US

I work as seasonally and sustainably as possible. I continue to train by taking regular courses and love to teach so running workshops in my local area and my own studio are planned for 2021. My style is wild and natural and I much prefer to work with British flowers although I do use dutch flowers out of season and when required for shop installations or weddings/events. I'm quite relaxed in my management style so ideally work best with those who are keen to learn but also have their own creative flair & can work independently.

TEAM SIZE

Currently just me, I have a freelance bookkeeper & website manager who does website admin and freelance photography but for events 3-4 others.

RATE OF PAY

£13-£20 per hour depending on experience and ability to commit regularly.

Scope for a more permanent role in the future.

ADDITIONAL INFO

I am currently renovating a studio. It's due to be completed by the end of January but it could be February! In the meantime I'm working from a stable and my home. The studio is 900 square foot so will have pop up opening hours for retail but otherwise function as a closed studio in the short term. The plan is to expand the hours in the future with more 'shop hours'. My business focus is luxury weddings and events and I want to focus on developing this area and expanding running workshops primarily.
