A BIT ABOUT ME
I love making my own ceramics, exploring art museums, and painting watercolours. Nothing gets me more excited than a perfect combination of architecture, art, and nature/flowers - Kettle’s Yard and Charleston Farmhouse (and garden) are two of my favourite places for inspiration. My favourite daily glimmer is watching birds at the feeder in my back garden. I also love early morning banana bread baking, cute dog spotting during walks in the Heath, and collecting perfect rocks from the beach.
Favourite Flower… currently smitten with the Black Knight Scabious and Nerine Bowdenii
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
I trained with Flower Appreciation Society through their 5-day career course.
I have freelanced for numerous florists and have experience with conditioning flowers, event/wedding set-up and derig, and all things holidays (including wreath workshops and large scale group installations). I’m very hardworking and approach every task/project in a methodical but efficient manner. From my own floral business, I have experience with contract flower preparation and deliveries as I provide weekly fresh flower and dry flower arrangements and bud vases to my local wine bar.
I’ve freelanced for the following florists: Flower Appreciation Society, Your London Florist, Design by Nature, and Botanique Workshop.
My previous career was in accounting/finance so I’m highly experienced with collaboration within a team, attention to detail, and effective communication.

PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK
I love supporting with all floristry work but especially love events using British-grown flowers and sustainable mechanics. I appreciate any opportunity to learn from other florists and provide a helping hand, calm demeanour, and snacks!
