EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

My background is in Fashion buying and I am a self taught florist. I started my career at Lucy Macnicoll, Harrogate and now I work for The Rarified, Bureau Botany, Mollie & Mauve, Daisy Hoban to name a few. I have experience in events and weddings on a large scale. I also have experience of shop floristry and work in a shop in North Yorkshire. My own business is Erin & Peony where I do around 10 weddings a year around my freelance work.

I have been working as a freelance florist for 7 year’s now. I have been tutored by my employees, Jo Cairns who owns The Rarified and Bethan Howlett who owns Bureau Botany. I’ve worked on large scale events for corporate functions and also weddings. North Yorkshire has Grantley Hall, Middleton Lodge is on the doorstep therefore I am at both venue’s various times throughout the year.

PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK

I love Weddings and would say that I am most confident doing large scale wedding installs such as Floral arches, Meadows, Rig’s. I am very fast and can use my own initiative when it comes to creating floral installs.
