A BIT ABOUT ME

I love growing flowers and being surrounded by nature. As a Taurus, food is definitely high on my list of priorities, so I enjoy both cooking and eating out. I also love taking long walks with my dog, it’s such a peaceful way to connect with the outdoors. Interior design has always been a passion of mine, and I enjoy anything creative or nature based it really fuels my inspiration and energy.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- RHS Level 2- ( 7 years gardening and in house florist on a private estate)
- The Bath Flower School (2 Week Intensive Professional Floristry Course)
- Bex Partridge (online course learning how to grow dry & arrange dried flowers)

I have worked as a gardener for the past seven years at a private estate, where I was not only responsible for growing flowers but also asked to arrange them for the house. This sparked my love for cut flowers and floral design. Without formal training initially, I decided to invest in my passion and completed a two-week professional floristry course at The Bath Flower School.

After completing the course, I felt equipped with the knowledge and confidence to establish my own floral design business. While I am not a traditional florist with a shopfront, I work from my home studio, creating bespoke designs for individuals and events. Over the past year, I have focused on designing and selling both dried and fresh floral arrangements at markets, including The Frome Independent, Bath Independent, and a weekly market in Bath.

I also run floral design workshops throughout the year, hosting them at Neptune, clients’ homes, and my studio. Although I have experience with a few large-scale installations, I am eager to further develop my skills in this area. I am hardworking, thrive under pressure, and take great pride in my creative work and dedication to my craft.
