Tarot reading, Travelling (especially when it includes driving), Learning new things.
A favourite flower⦠Delphinium for the gorgeous colour, peony for the amazing bloom!!
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
I've been a florist for 6 years now and was taught through my mentor, learning bouquets, buttonholes, funeral tributes etc as well as the business side of floristry. I did take learning into my own hands with flower crowns, wedding floristry, small installations and even flower meanings (which is one of my favourite things to implement in my designs).
I learnt majority through one place in a small team but branched out recently and have worked with larger teams as well as completely on my own from the very beginning of a job to the end. I love to work with other florists as I feel you are always learning in this field but I can confidently work independently too. I can work fast to a deadline but take pride in my work, wanting the customer to be just as happy as I am.
Experience:
Intermediate - 6 years
PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK
Weddings and events definitely, though I would love more experience with larger jobs as what I have experienced so far has been lovely but small scale.
