A BIT ABOUT ME

Having recently returned from living in Australia, I'm so happy to be back in the beautiful UK, working with such rich and varied flowers. There is nothing quite like an English garden in spring! I'm excited to see how the industry is learning to become more sustainable where possible, alongside the increasing interest and support of British growers. I truly learn something every day.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I have an English Literature degree (2:1) and have completed a short course in Fashion Journalism. In 2020, I completed the Certificate III course at Pearsons School of Floristry in Sydney.

I am formerly a fashion and beauty journalist, most recently working for ELLE and Harper's BAZAAR Australia as Online Editor. Following the sad closure of the magazines during the pandemic, I retrained as a florist and have been working in a freelance capacity ever since. During my time in Australia I took on a few solo projects including weddings, a press send out and an event for beauty brand, Revlon. In December 2021 I moved back to the UK from Sydney and have been freelancing on the lovely Isle of Wight (before recently moving to London). I've assisted on wedding work, creating hand tied bouquets, table arrangements and larger displays such as lychgates and arches.
