A BIT ABOUT ME
Sport and exercise have always been the number one love of mine, closely followed by reading and creative writing.
My husband and I travelled a lot pre-children and we enjoyed all sorts of adventures around the World.
Nowadays, it's wonderful getting out and about with my two sons and our dog (Austen - 4, Eli - 2 and Florrie the dog - 5) for beach and countryside walks and play.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
In 2012 I left the teaching profession for something more creative. Beginning as a flower delivery driver, I gradually gained more shop-time, eventually running a branch in a group of 3 (in London) regularly and on my own. I also continued with the driving for the company and organising logistics.
My own business, Roots Creative Floristry, was born in 2014 . Which I continue to this day, creating event, wedding, funeral, corporate contracts (work space) and general occasion flowers from home. I have gradually built an extensive customer base via my website: www.rootscreativefloristy.co.uk; social media; and google searches.
In early 2014 I completed a four day intensive course in floral design at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers. This was following 2 years 'on the job' training and experience with well established London floristry company: Gardenia of London.
PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK
Weddings and events are most enjoyable as each one is generally unique in terms of style and choice of arrangements. However, I also enjoy creating regular pieces for contractual work with local businesses, such as restaurants, estate agencies, solicitors firms etc.
