A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi, My name is Yuki Yokoi, a freelance designer based in London and Tokyo.
Since I was a child, I have had a keen interest in beautiful plants, flowers and spaces where are surrounded by the wonders of nature.
Back in college, I studied interior design, this experience enhances my interests further.
In my free time, travelling, spending time with my family and friends makes my life happier.
Also, the time when taking care of my lovely plants is a favourite time in the day.
I always would like to socialise with new people and work with them is fascinating!

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

-Certificate of London Flower School
-driving license in UK
-BA degree in Interior design at Musashino Art University
-Advanced user of adobe illustrator, photoshop, word and excel

I have spent five years working in plants and flowers decoration industry in Tokyo. I have high knowledge about it; therefore this work experience and knowledge of plants and flowers make me an ideal candidate. As a designer, I was in charge of planning for famous hotels, such as the Westin hotel and Ritz Carlton. Besides, having worked in a busy environment, I learnt how important it is to work as a team to handle challenges on the job.
After resigned from my job, I looked for new challenges and moved to the UK. Last year I have been studied floristry at London Flower School and worked for the Aoyama Flower Market for a while. Having learnt about the British style of hand-tied bouquet and arrangement, It strengthened my career and let me achieve own unique style of design.
