EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I am a Hackney-based florist with a keen focus on event floral design and two years of industry experience. While relatively new to the floristry, I had a chance to work with a number of talented London florists with different styles. I also developed, planned and delivered various independent projects, including weddings with budgets up to £3.5k and high-profile arrangements for Christie’s London.

I am confident with hand-tie bouquets, foam-free and foam-based arrangements and installations. I have experience in a busy shop environment, and I am comfortable taking the lead on small to medium-sized projects when and if required.

Experience, skills & responsibilities:
- Creating hand-tie bouquets and arrangements according to a brief and specific stem count and style  guides
- Wedding and event installation
- Creating larger installations, like arches and hanging installations, on-site
- Developing floral concepts independently and to a brief
- Working with suppliers at New Covent Garden Market, planning and purchasing  flowers and other necessary materials
- Performing day-to-day tasks, like conditioning and maintaining flowers, keeping  the shopfloor and display tidy, clean and attractive
- Serving customers in a friendly and calm manner in a busy retail environment
