EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Approximately 18 years experience in floristry.
Completed McQueens career course.
Owned my own floristry business for 8 years

I have approximately 18 years experience in floristry starting as an apprentice in Leigh-on-sea. I have completed the McQueens career course of which I have the certificate. I owned my own shop for eight years but closed to pursue other endeavours. Am currently working from home doing adhoc work for existing clients. Highlights of my career have been creating flowers for Nicole Scherzinger's perfume launch and creating the funeral flowers for T/L Sir David Amess. My favourite work in the floristry is funeral work and I pride myself on my ability to create bespoke pieces from scratch, my most recent project a lion head which received a repost via Instagram from Oasis Floral Supplies UK.
Looking now to offer my services but prefer to live my life on a less '9-5 mon-fri' basis so feel that freelance is the perfect option for me.
Have extensive knowledge of flowers and plants and traditional and modern styles of floristry.
