I am interested in most things visual: architecture and design, floral design and fashion, as well as music and Mediterranean cuisine.

Favourite flowers?… Café au lait dahlia and mimosa. Can’t pick my favourite.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I am a retired woman who is seriously committed to learning floral design, because it gives me joy.
My offline training: McQueens Fundamentals of Floristry, Catherine Muller Dutch Masters, Lacy Bird Floral Design in Dubai.

Online courses like Simon Lycett’s BBC Maestro course of 23 lessons, Lacy Bird and Jeff Leatham online, as well as countless hours of YouTube videos on the subject.

No practical experience so far. I would like to intern or freelance, and will perform any task from trips to the flower market, vase bleaching, conditioning and reflexing, working as part of a team on installations, bouquets and centrepieces.
