A BIT ABOUT ME
As a recent owner of a garden, I have spent the last year transforming a very blank canvas (lucky I know). The garden is now growing and blooming with colour, shrubs, annuals, pots & containers, as well as all sorts of wildlife - I watch the birds on the feeders every morning, and welcome the butterflies & bees swirling around me as I tend to the garden. I am slightly obsessed with Pilates but only because I enjoy moving my body and looking after it. I also find cooking another creative outlet, and really enjoy using the (all be it currently few!) herbs from the garden in the recipes.
Favourite flowers?… Ranunculus (especially Butterly Ranunculus!)
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
I passed with a City & Guilds Distinction in Level 1 Floristry / Land Based Studies from Capel Manor College and have completed Tallulah Rose's intensive 2 week career change course, in Amsterdam. (As well as creating, we visited Flower Farms and the Aalsmeer Flower Auction).
I have been creating my own designs for clients alongside my learning, to develop my own style. Previous to training in Floristry, I was a successful Interior Designer, previous to that Cabin Crew, and previous to that I studied Textile Design. I have always had a creative eye - the connection between Floristry and Interior Design is incredibly strong - I understand colour, scale, texture, styling - and logistics! Working as Cabin Crew meant I met so many different people, adapted to working with a different team every week, and experience many different cultures.
