A BIT ABOUT ME
I love...
Working with flowers, especially using British flowers . I am inspired by the seasons and I am really interested in learning about flower growing.
Being outside, especially long walks with a good podcast.
Coffee with friends. Gin with friends, wine with friends or cooking up a storm with friends.
Long companionable road trips with my husband to new faraway places.
Photography- capturing the moment, the light, the emotion.
My favourite flower… I can't really choose... but Jasmine would have to be my all time fave. The smell, the delicate flower and the twisty foliage- magic.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
2016/2017 City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Floristry - Capel Manor College ( Distinction Grade)
2015/2016 City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Floristry - Capel Manor College ( Distinction Grade)
Full UK Driving license since 2015.
For the past 2 years, I have done some freelance work for a variety of London based florists, mostly helping with weddings or busy periods like Christmas, Valentines day or Mothers day. I have also assisted helping with events such as Chelsea in bloom, product launches and contract work and some pop up market stall collaborations for Valentines day and Mothers day.
In 2017 I spent a flower season ( March - October) working with at PlantPassions flower flower farm learning about British flower growing.
I am also building up my own business ( Unruly Flowers) mainly focussing on weddings, using seasonal, British grown flowers where possible.
