A BIT ABOUT ME

My hobbies include running and keeping fit. I enjoy long walks around our beautiful countryside and walking our dogs. I love going to festivals and concerts.

My favourite flower… I love ranunculus and sweet peas

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I studied my formal floristry qualifications at Pershore Horticultural College in 2006/7/8 and have attended various day courses since with Jay Archer and Sabine Darrell to keep up with new techniques etc, I try to do this as often as I can. I won the first RHS Gold medal at Malvern Autumn show 2018 and was commissioned by the RHS to create a floral feature for their Spring Show this May 2019. I won Matrimony Awards Best wedding Florist for Worcestershire and overall for the four counties involved.

I run my own floristry business from a workshop and it has worked out that I create mainly Weddings as not having a direct outlet this I find works out best for my family and work life balance. I have been doing so for 4 years now working on my own. I also teach seasonal workshops at Pershore College and hold my own in various local locations. I do create funeral pieces and bouquets on request also. I love working other people and in a team and I'm happy to be directed , I recently worked with Sarah Champier on her Floral Eccentrics pieces for Malvern. I feel have I have a good work ethic and can work quickly and competently.
