A BIT ABOUT ME

My hobbies and interest primarily surround arts and crafts. I like to envision, plan and construct design ideas for pretty much anything. I like to read in my spare time, blogs, magazines, articles, books, so basically anything. I like to keep up to date with latest floral techniques and trends.

I like Photography but as I am only a novice photographer (self-labelled), I am constantly exploring new ways on how to capture photos (believe me this is not easy if you don't have the right equipment).

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Level 2 Floristry - Writtle University College - to be completed June 2019 (Distinction level so far)

Foundation Certificate in Floristry - Writtle University College BA (Hons) Economics and Politics - University of Liverpool - Achieved 2:1

Photography A/S Level - (back in 2002) - Grade B

I have currently almost two years of college taught experience at WUC. I have learnt all major topics within the floristry course. Along side this I have done a substantial amount of work experience with Chelmer Florist (Chelmsford), The Flower Room (Hylands Estate - Chelmsford), and Stock Florist (Essex). Whilst at Chelmer florist, I was very hands on, doing a number of different tasks, from making bouquets to contract arrangements for restaurants. The Flower Room, I have worked at the lovely and overwhelmingly beautiful Hylands House, decorating for special events. I did a short experience day with Stock Florists (Wedding Florists of the year 2018), learning a lot around the busyness of the place. Alongside this, I have managed to do private work, making bouquets, vase arrangements, funeral, prop work. I am currently starting an contract with Hyde Park Crescent for reception foyer arrangements of flowers.
