EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Level 2 City & Guilds Technical floristry - Pass with Distinction - Plumpton College - Summer 2020
I started my floristry course at Plumpton College in September 2019, during the course I completed over 150 hours of work experience in a shop (Greenfingers, Worthing) including the 3 peak periods. Since graduating in the Summer of 2020 I have had freelance work 3-4 days a week at Findon Flowers where I deal with customers over the phone, by email and face to face. My time at Findon has allowed me to gain plenty of sympathy work experience,
D/E sprays, S/E sprays, Wreaths, Based lettering, pillows, cushions, crosses, football shirts and 3D balls.
And plenty of day to day handtie and flat bouquet practice.
I also freelance during peak periods at Greenfingers (where I completed my college work experience).
Experience Level:
Beginner - 18 months
PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK
So far my largest experience has been in sympathy work but I look forward to the opportunity to get involved in wedding and events floristry once the lockdown is over.
