EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Flowers began for me 25 years ago as therapy from corporate life as a banker working in the City. It started with my home and spread to doing parties & tablescapes for friends in London. They paid for the flowers and I had the joy of being with the flower. Fast forward to 2015, I bought a flower shop in a small coastal town. Learned a lot. Did 70 weddings in 3 years as well as maintained a busy day to day floral delivery service. Zero days off in 3 years. Since 2019 freelancing exclusively for weddings (100 + in that time; references available) & select private client homes. Taught floral design (2 classes a week during the growing season) at a local flower farm for a year & trained entire barn staff in floral design (dailies & wedding florals).

Advanced - Informally, 25 years. Formally, 8 years.

PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK

Truly love all floral work - from designing a full event, to centerpieces to bouquet work, to making floral jewellery. Love a good installation too, yet also worry about stem longevity (worked in a very warm climate last few years!)
