A BIT ABOUT ME

I am happiest doing things that involve using my creativity and enjoy giving new things a go.
Growing up surrounded by flowers and foliage I guess I naturally gravitated towards floristry and floral arrangements. I’m fascinated at what can be achieved using flowers and foliage.
I am a keen crafter/artist with most of my work done in paint and pen.
I swim, read, and spend any spare minute I have in my garden.
My house is full of boys. Motorsport, mud, trees, bikes and noise is the general order, so to hide in the sanctuary of my garden is a welcome escape.

My favourite flower… Alliums, agapanthus, eryngiums

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I have recently trained with the Sussex flower school on a career change course. I have also done Ikebana and glue work there too.
I have done floral arrangements for friends and family.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Beginner - First year in floristry

PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK

I’m happy to undertake any to gain knowledge, experience and confidence but my particular interests are in corporate and large installations, Ikebana and florals jewellery.
